UPDATES:

So, my neighbors and I threw a rager on Saturday. The cops only came twice, which I take as a pretty good sign. The first batch of cops that showed up told us, "We have a noise complaint from one of your neighbors."

"Uhhhh...ok. Which one? The deaf guy, or the dude who's into mescaline?"

"What? Look, don't worry about it. We're going off shift in about 5 minutes, and frankly we'd rather not deal with this right now."

Ahhhh Portland's Finest! Always there to help, as long as it isn't an inconvenience of course.

Later on, a dude wearing a Sean John "Sweat-xedo" decided to freestyle rap for about a half an hour. It was at this point that the second batch of cops showed up to shut everything down. Apparently, the Portland Police are primed and ready to leap into action as soon as things get too "urban".

I can't say I was all that dissapointed though. The dude couldn't rap worth a damn.

In other news:

I'm heading off to Phoenix, AZ on Thursday morning for a compatriot's bachelor party. I'd say it's about even odds between making it home and ending up face down in a gutter in Juarez.

Those are odds I can live with.

HOOLIGANEERING:

I got a yellow card in an indoor soccer game last night. I'm feeling pretty good about that.
